REV. SUSAN DUNLAP

Rev. Susan Dunlap is on faculty at Duke Divinity School, where she teaches in the area of pastoral care in times of grief and illness, and serves as Director of Duke’s M.Div/M.S.W dual-degree program. She has published two books, Counseling Depressed Women and Caring Cultures: How Congregations Care for the Sick. She also serves as the chaplain at Urban Ministries of Durham, and is currently researching and writing on the topic, “The Religious Lives of People Living in Extreme Poverty.” As an ordained Presbyterian minister, she has pastored churches in the Presbytery of Baltimore.
